President Federation Cup: Kano Pillars coach commends players despite defeat to Abia Warriors

Kano Pillars caretaker coach Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro has commended his players despite their President Federation Cup semi-final defeat to Abia Warriors.

The Sai Masu Gida lost 5-3 on penalties to Abia Warriors at Lafia City Stadium on Thursday.

The game ended goalless in regulation time.

Yaro Yaro believed that his players showed great determination in the game.

He also wished Abia Warriors well in the final of the competition.

“No matter how you try the result will never be changed,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“My players tried their best as they gave everything in the game, I believe victory was destined to go to Abia Warriors and I wish them good luck in the final.”

Kano Pillars will now shift attention to their Nigeria Premier Football League final game of the season against Lobi Stars.
