May Yul-Edochie, entrepreneur and estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has stirred conversations on social media after sharing a strong message to women who take pride in being with married men.
In a post on her Instagram page on Saturday, May cautioned that marriages built on the tears and heartbreak of others can never truly stand the test of time.
“You that have vowed never to get your own man but derive joy in snatching another woman’s husband, just continue. Maybe today it feels sweet, maybe you think you are winning, but trust me, you won’t like what is coming. Karma does not sleep, and marriage built on another woman’s tears can never last,” she wrote.
She encouraged women to wait for the right partner, stressing that lasting peace in marriage cannot be stolen from another person’s home.
“At the end, it won’t be funny, the same way you entered, that’s how another will come and push you out. Instead of sowing pain into another woman’s home, pray and wait for your own man. What belongs to you will come at the right time, and that peace can never be stolen,” she added.
May’s post comes in the wake of her widely reported marital split from Yul Edochie, who went public in 2022 with his second marriage to actress Judy Austin. The announcement, which shocked many Nigerians, turned the family into a trending topic across media platforms.
Her latest remarks have reignited online debate, with fans flooding the comment section of her post. Many praised her for speaking boldly, while others went as far as tagging Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, urging them to respond.
As of press time, neither Yul Edochie nor Judy Austin had publicly reacted to May’s statement which many believed was a covert hit on them.
