Former West Ham manager Graham Potter has been confirmed as Sweden manager after the dismissal of Jon Dal Tomasson.
Recall that Tomasson was sacked following the disappointing 0-1 defeat at home against Kosovo in a 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Reacting to his appointment as Sweden national team coach, Potter said, “I am very honored by the task, but also incredibly inspired.

“Sweden has fantastic players who deliver in the world’s best leagues week after week.
“My task will be to create the right conditions so that we as a team can perform at the highest level and lead Sweden to the World Cup next summer”,
The former Chelsea and West Ham coach has previous experience in Sweden, having had a “transformative spell at Östersunds FK”.
