Nottingham Forest have parted ways with Ange Postecoglou after a disappointing 3-0 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League.
Postecoglou was sacked by Forest just 18 minutes after the full-time whistle at the City Ground. Goals from Josh Acheampong, Pedro Neto, and Reece James sealed a valuable three points for the Blues, who climb to fourth in the Premier League.
He spent just 39 days in charge at the club, the shortest managerial reign of any permanent manager to leave a club during the season.

In a brutally blunt statement, Forest confirmed, “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that after a series of disappointing results and performances, Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect.
“The club will make no further comment at this time.”
Postecoglou only arrived at Forest last month as a replacement for Nuno Espirito Santo.
