The mid-2000s was a period for emerging music bands that, for the most part, captured everyone’s attention. While we had talented individuals coming together to become one, we saw, in the coming years, their painful split.
One of such musically talented bands is The Pussycat Dolls. Although their split was announced almost a decade ago (2010), it appears the group has reunited to give their fans more good music.
Nicole Scherzinger took to Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 27) to post a vague photo, definitely confirming the reunion. The photo, a starlit sky with a heart that says “Pussycat Dolls” at the center, was captioned simply with the hashtag #PCDReunion.
Following this revelation, The Pussycat Dolls made their first live appearance together in a decade to perform a medley of past singles, as well as their new song “React,” on the finals of the U.K.’s The X Factor: Celebrity.
The group’s set included “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up,” “Don’t Cha” and “React” on the episode airing on Saturday.
As a part of the reunion announcement by Scherzinger, it was also revealed that the girls would be touring the U.K. in April.
After their performance, Scherzinger returned to Instagram to declare that “it‘s good to be back with my girls.”
