Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar better known by her stage name Cardi B is a lot of things. A mother, wife, ex-stripper, reality TV star, rapper, businesswoman and in the nearest future she might be adding congresswoman to the list.
The Grammy award-winning rapper since grabbing the attention of millions with her record-setting song, Bodak Yellow, has continued to give fans more and more reasons to love or hate her as the case may be.
The outspoken entertainer in a couple of tweets on her Twitter page has revealed her desire to be a politician.
This comes as no surprise as the 27-year-old has always taken an active interest in politics with her disdain and criticism for United States’s President Donald Trump a common knowledge.
The “Invasion of Privacy” hitmaker wrote:
“I think I want to be a politician.I really love government even tho I don’t agree with Goverment.”
Hours later, she continued along these train of thought with a follow-up tweet that reads:
“I do feel like if I go back to school and focus up I can be part of Congress. I deadass have sooo much ideas that make sense.I just need a couple of years of school and I can shake the table.”
These tweets are coming days after she slammed Trump for launching a missile that killed an Iranian general. As at the time of the killing, she called out Trump for trying to start a civil war and went on to say she will file for Nigerian citizenship.
