The full-day workshop will feature 12 professionals and experts from the fields of marketing, media, and tech. The speakers and facilitators will share useful insights through case studies and provide practical tools that will help journalists, bloggers and storytellers to effectively leverage opportunities that digital media offers. It is believed that with improved digital skills and a deeper understanding of technology tools, more media professionals in Africa can successfully innovate and grow.
“A lot of our friends in the media; journalists and publishers are putting great effort into getting online and using social media, but many are still not achieving the desired results. Our mission with Social4Media is to provide insights, tools, and techniques that will help them succeed and grow their businesses,” said Femi Falodun, CEO of ID Africa.
Gbenga Sogbaike, CEO of Plaqad also added: “Social4Media is designed to help reporters, bloggers, editors, PR execs and others who work in media to better understand the relevant social media platforms and tools, and how to use them better. We are doing this through case studies, panel discussions, and presentations by experts who have successfully used digital media for business growth.”
