Spanish giants Barcelona are in hot pursuit of Real Betis left-back Junior Firpo this summer
Barcelona will tempt fellow La Liga side Real Betis with two players plus cash in exchange for Junior Firpo, according to reports.
Ernesto Valverde is keen on bringing in the left-back this summer after establishing himself as a regular starter at Betis - making 43 appearances since early 2018.
And according to Spanish publication Diario Sport, the Spanish giants will do everything they can to sign Firpo by tempting Betis with a deal that would be hard to refuse.
The 22-year-old has a £53million release clause in his contract and has a long-term deal at the club until the summer of 2023.
However, Diario report that Barcelona would not have to offer too much cash as they would add midfielder Rafinha Alcantara and left-back Juan Miranda as part of the deal.
Denis Suarez, who endured a nightmare loan spell at Arsenal last season, is also understood to be a potential player that may be involved in the operation.
