A Nigerian police officer, Inspector Haruna Mohammed, has been found dead in a hotel room in Ogun State.
The officer had checked into Super G Royal Hotel at 11 Anthony Uzum Estate, Oyeyemi Akute, with a woman around 1:00 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025. However, by morning, the woman was nowhere to be found.
According to a police report, the hotel manager, Deborah Adejobi, discovered the room unlocked at about 8:52 AM. When she checked inside, she found Inspector Mohammed’s lifeless body, but his female companion was missing.

The hotel owner, Abiodun Olagunju, reported the incident to the police. The memo also revealed that the woman had gone to the reception at about 6:00 AM to request table water, but she has not been seen since.
The police are currently investigating the case and searching for the missing woman to uncover what happened.
The police have described Mohammed's death as "unnatural."His body has been removed and deposited at Life Channel Mortuary in Olambe.
