Police arrest 2 suspected robbers in Benue

The Benue State Police Command has arrested two suspected armed robbers in Yogbo village, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.

Spokesperson for the command, CSP Catherine Anene, said the arrests were made following a raid on Yogbo village by the police.

Anene stated that acting on credible intelligence, officers from Daudu Police Division, carried out an operation around 8:30am on February 7, 2025, leading to the arrest of Yakubu Kantoma (32) and Abu Ishaku (25) both residents of Sekereke, Yogbo village.

She added that one of their victims had already identified the suspects, and investigations were ongoing to uncover further details about their activities.
