Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned 5 men earlier the Magistrate Court sitting successful Ado-Ekiti for alleged stealing of operation materials belonging to the authorities government.
The suspects, Bamidele Solomon, Folorunsho Dada, Sunday Idowu, Olaniyi Opeyemi and Olaniyi Bamidele were brought earlier Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun.
The suspects were arraigned connected 3 counts of conspiracy to bargain granite the spot of Ekiti State authorities valued astatine N472,500. They, however, pleaded not blameworthy to the charges.
The constabulary prosecutor, Mr Akinwale Oriyomi told the tribunal that the defendants allegedly committed the offences connected 5th August, 2024.
The authoritative thereafter asked for a proceedings day pursuing their not-guilty plea.
According to the prosecutor, the alleged offences interruption sections 421, 302 (1) (A) and 343 of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
The Magistrate, however, granted bail of N200,000 with 2 surety each portion the lawsuit was adjourned until September 6th for the commencement of trial.
