Plateau: JIBWIS preaches righteousness, compassion at pre-Ramadan seminar

The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) has urged Nigerians and Muslims in particular to uphold the virtues of righteousness and compassion.

This was part of the admonishment by the JIBWIS, in a media briefing held in Jos by Hon. Ahmad Ashir, the national publicity secretary of the group, preparatory to its 32nd annual seminar for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

He said: “As usual, JIBWIS has finalised preparation for its 32nd Annual National Seminar, scheduled for Thursday 20th February, 2025, with the theme: “Righteousness (sic) Deeds Compatible with Islamic Injunction Are The Basis of Human Success.”

Ashir said the seminar aims to prepare Muslims for the sacred month, reminding them of the values that Ramadan embodies.

“Ramadan is a month of infinite blessings, a time for Muslims to reconnect with Allah and deepen their relationship with Him.

“Muslims should rejuvenate their faith and always uphold the virtues of righteousness which ultimately leads to compassion amongst fellow humans.”
