The Instagram account of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has been deactivated.
Checks on Tuesday showed that her verified handle was no longer accessible. The move comes shortly after she announced the death of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor.
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the Otabor family confirmed Ruth’s passing in a statement issued through Eko Solicitors & Advocates at about 6:30 a.m.
Ruth died from complications after a tragic accident on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, when a Dangote Group truck hit her outside Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State.
She sustained severe leg injuries, which led to an amputation before her eventual death.
