An Abuja-based lawyer, Emmanuel Umahi Ekwe, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu as the Director General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
The lawyer, in a statement made available to Blueprint over the weekend, lauded Tinubu’s strategic move, highlighting Princess Zahrah’s exceptional leadership qualities and expertise in fostering a conducive business environment.
The lawyer noted: “Princess Zahrah’s appointment is a testament to her exceptional abilities. I look forward to working collaboratively with her to support PEBEC’s mission of streamlining bureaucratic processes and improving Nigeria’s ease of doing business.”
Goibg forward, Ekwe urged Princess Zahrah to embark on a nationwide tour of the Federation.
The tour, according to him, would provide an opportunity for on-the-spot assessment of current challenges and would facilitate effective implementation of PEBEC’s programmes aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s business climate.
By doing so, he explained further, the new DG would be able to plan out reforms tailored to meet local needs, thereby boosting economic growth and development across the country.
“Her expertise is perfect for the job. She is a positivist and person of impeccable character. I’ve worked directly with her on a lot of projects. “
“Her expertise is expected to drive transformative change in fostering a more conducive business environment in Nigeria.” he added.
Princess Zahrah succeeds Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, who was recently appointed Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.
The PEBEC plays a crucial role in removing bureaucratic constraints and improving the ease of doing business in Nigeria
