A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in the November Anambra State governorship election, Sir Jude Ezenwafor, has promised to rescue the state from insecurity and misgovernance if he wins.

Ezenwafor, who submitted his nomination forms at the PDP national secretariat on Wednesday, listed his five-point agenda as security, business and investment, as well as youth Empowerment

The aspirant, who claimed to have produced many governors of Anambra State from (Chinwoke) Mbadinuju to Willie Obiano, said it is now time for him to become governor himself.
He said, “There is no governor that has ruled Anambra State that doesn’t have my hand. Let the person prove it.

“There is no party that has ruled Anambra State that my hand was not there. So now, I want to prove myself.”

Ezenwafor also said he has served virtually in government in Anambra State since 1999.

This, according to him, include SA, (Youth and Mobilisation) to former Governor Mbadinuju; SA (security and personal aid) to former Governor Chris Ngige; Chief Protocol officer to Peter Obi, and Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters and Strategy to former Governor Obiano.

“On his second term, I was Senior Special Assistant on Political and Security to the same governor, Willie Obiano.

“Then after Obiano, I went on a diplomatic mission. I was a consul on trade and investment to the Caribbean.

“I was the first PDP youth leader in Anambra State, after being the youth council president. I have been in government,” he stated.
