The council also commended his efforts in agriculture and security, noting his impact across the state.

The assessment followed a three-day inspection tour of projects and governance activities across the state, covering Southern, Northern, and Central Senatorial districts.

He also stressed that social services have been prioritized for all parts of the state.

He said, “Since Oyebanji assumed office some three years ago, he had put his hands on the plough and had not looked back in ensuring that Ekiti State got a befitting facelift and held its own among the comity of states in Nigeria.”

The APC State Chairman, Olusola Elesin, added, “There is no doubt that the governor has done a yeoman’s job. He has performed creditably well, even beyond our expectations.

“Little wonder the good people of the state are heaping praises on him and yearning for his second term in office.

“We will surely ensure that the governor comes back to complete the works yet to be completed and do even more.”

Members of the council commended Oyebanji’s initiatives in road infrastructure, poverty alleviation, and revamping state-owned enterprises.

They also highlighted his efforts in agro-value chain development, noting that these projects have attracted investors, created employment, and improved the state’s economy.

The party also highlighted the governor’s commitment to making Ekiti conducive for business, as reflected in its Ease-of-Doing-Business rating and the state’s recognition as one of the safest in Nigeria.

The APC affirmed that the administration’s programmes align with Oyebanji’s six-pillar inclusive development model, emphasizing equitable distribution across all 16 Local Government Areas and 22 LCDAs.

The council members concluded, “Everywhere we go, it is construction, construction, and construction,” underscoring the governor’s dedication to transforming Ekiti State.
