Over 4.4 Million Nigerians Register for INEC PVCs in Four Weeks



As of Sunday, September 14, 2025, more than 4.4 million Nigerians have registered online for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) through the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), just four weeks after the registration process began on August 18, 2025. 

The surge in registrations reflects significant voter enthusiasm ahead of upcoming elections.Below is the list of states ranked from highest to lowest based on PVC registration numbers:Osun: 552,045

The data indicates significant regional variations, with Osun leading the pack and Enugu recording the lowest number of registrations. 

The high turnout in states like Osun, Lagos, and Borno suggests strong civic engagement, while lower figures in some southern states may indicate challenges in mobilization or access to the registration process. 

INEC continues to encourage eligible voters to register as the process remains ongoing.
