The Vice President of Nigerian Table Tennis Federation (NTTF), Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, has described the election of Mr. Wahid Enitan Oshodi as a strong indication of Nigeria’s growing influence in global sports governance.
Only recently, the former president of Nigeria Table Tennis Federation was re-elected as Executive Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
He secured his re-election in the first round of voting contested by 15 candidates worldwide during the continuation of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held online on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Oshodi, who also serves as President of the African Table Tennis Federation (ITTF Africa), emerged among the top seven, alongside representatives from the United States, China, Turkey, Australia, Ecuador, Romania, and Jordan.
In his congratulatory message, Mailantarki wrote: “I proudly extend my warmest congratulations to Mr. Wahid Enitan Oshodi on his outstanding re-election as the Executive Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
“This achievement highlights your exceptional global stature, visionary leadership, and the deep trust the international table tennis community continues to place in you.

Mailantarki also said the present leadership of the NTTF is ready to work closely with Oshodi for transformative results.
