The organisers of the Osun Military Paramilitary Games 2025 have announced a one-week shift in the commencement date of the highly anticipated competition.

Speaking on behalf of ACE Sports, the official organizers of the Games, the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Olayinka Olawole, explained that the decision became necessary to ensure better logistics and smooth participation of all registered agencies.

“The adjustment was made in consultation with all stakeholders to give participating teams ample time to complete their preparations and to enhance the overall quality of the Games,” Olawole stated.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Osun State Sports Officers Association, Mr. Olufemi Bankefa, assured that the change in date would not affect the excitement and momentum already built around the Games.

“All agencies remain fully committed, and our organizing team is working tirelessly to deliver a successful and memorable event,” Bankefa noted.

The competition will now officially kick off on the 22nd of October and run through the 4th of November, 2025.

Both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies will take place at the prestigious Aderemi Sanni Stadium, Adeleke University, Ede.

Initiated by the Osun State Sports Officers Association and organized by ACE Sports, in conjunction with the Osun State Ministry of Sports, the OSUn Military Paramilitary Games 2025 aim to foster unity, discipline, and physical fitness among military and paramilitary agencies across the state.
