Orezi Makes Big MovesWith New Music

Nigerian singer Orezi, born Esegine Allen, is making waves once again, deter­mined to reclaim his spot at the top of the Afrobeats scene. Since November 2024, he has been on a re­lentless streak, dropping new music and making ma­jor moves in the industry.

In November, Orezi teamed up with South African artiste PCEE for a remix of his hit sin­gle I Swear, blending Nigerian and South African sounds. The official video, shot in South Afri­ca, is now out, further amplifying the track’s reach. This release followed the success of his EP Chocolate Daddy, which featured collaborations with Tekno, Shee­bah, and Daphne, showcasing his versatility.

Orezi recently returned to Ni­geria from the United Kingdom, and he wasted no time reconnect­ing with fans.

On Sunday, February 3, he delivered a high-energy perfor­mance at Club Vogue, signaling his full-fledged return to the mu­sic scene.

Looking ahead, Orezi has announced plans to drop a new album this year. But before that, he will keep fans engaged with a steady stream of singles, ensur­ing that 2025 is the year he takes his rightful place at the top of Afrobeats.
