OPFY Troops Rescue Lone Driver After Ghastly Accident On Bwari–Jere Road, FCT


Troops Of Operation FANSAN YAMMAN (OPFY) rendered immediate assistance to a lone driver who survived a serious motor accident along the Bwari–Jere Road, approximately 20 kilometres from Jere in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to Daily Post, the accident involved a black Toyota vehicle that reportedly somersaulted before landing upside down in a ditch, leaving the driver injured but conscious.

Samuel Aruwan, the immediate past Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated on his verified Facebook page that he promptly alerted security forces after rescuing the victim from the wreckage.

Upon receiving the emergency call, the Commander of Sub-Sector 4 OPFY swiftly dispatched troops to the location. The soldiers efficiently recovered the overturned vehicle and ensured the driver was stabilised for immediate medical attention.

Additionally, the troops deployed a towing vehicle to remove the damaged car from the scene, guaranteeing smooth traffic flow and enhanced safety for other road users.

Local residents praised the rapid intervention and humanitarian efforts of the troops, highlighting that their actions exemplify the military’s commitment to service beyond conventional battlefield duties.

Many described the operation as a model of people-focused security measures, dedicated to safeguarding lives, restoring peace, and promoting the common good.
