Onaiwu CongratulateTinubu On The Establishment Of SEDC

Former Director-General of the Nigeria Governors Forum( NGF), Earl Osaro Onaiwu, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).

In a press release made available to newsmen, Onaiwu, described the establishment of the SEDC as a groundbreaking initiative aims to bridge the development gap in the southeast region, tackling long-standing challenges such as erosion, insecurity, and educational decline since the end of civil war.

He explained that the SEDC will coordinate development projects, promote investments, and prioritize critical infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and water resources in the southeast region.

“I commend President Tinubu for his vision and commitment to addressing the development needs of the South East region,” said Earl Osaro Onaiwu, while noting that the establishment of the SEDC is a significant step towards promoting economic growth, improving living standards, and enhancing the overall well-being of the people in the southeast region.

He uurge the Governors of the South East region to key into the President’s agenda for SEDC to achieve it’s purpose working closely with the states, local communities, and other stakeholders to identify regional needs and develop strategies to address them.

Onaiwu added that the collaborative approach will ensure that development projects are tailored to the specific requirements of the region, maximizing their impact and effectiveness.

While congratulating President Tinubu on the landmark achievement, Onaiwu, pledged his support for the successful implementation of the SEDC’s mandate.
