Akwa United head coach Paul Offor has declared his team’s readiness for the 2025/26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season, reports Completesports.com.
The Promise Keepers will begin their campaign against Solution FC at the Uyo Township Stadium on Sunday.
Offor stated that they are fully prepared after months of rebuilding, hard work, and competitive friendlies.

“We have a solid team, a clear style of play, and players ready to fight for the badge. Our target is simple — take Akwa United back to the Premier League,” he told the club’s media.
Akwa United will compete in Southern Conference B, where only the top team earns promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Uyo club will be targeting an instant return to the NPFL following their relegation last season.
