Odimayo bags Legislator of the Year Award 

In recognition of his outstanding legislative contributions and unwavering commitment to the development of his constituency, the member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo, has been honoured with the Legislator of the Year award.

A statement by his media aide Victor Adedeji disclosed that the prestigious award was presented by Hero Magazine International, a renowned publication known for celebrating excellence in leadership and service. 

He said the event, which held in Dejavu Hotel and suits, brought together dignitaries, political stakeholders, and well-wishers who commended Odimayo for his remarkable impact in legislative representation and grassroots development.

“Since assuming office, Odimayo has demonstrated exceptional leadership through various initiatives, including empowerment programs, infrastructure projects, employment opportunities for youths, and the facilitation of social welfare schemes. His proactive approach to governance and dedication to the welfare of his people have earned him widespread admiration and respect”.

Receiving the award on behalf of Odimayo, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Utility and Mobilization, Hon. Sayo Ogunmade,  expressed gratitude to Hero Magazine International for the recognition, dedicating the award to his constituents. 

He reaffirmed the lawmaker’s unwavering dedication to advancing the interests of his constituents and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The lawmaker described the award as a call to further service, promising to redouble efforts in delivering quality representation, infrastructural development, and social empowerment programs.
