A 20-man delegation led by the Alaaye of Efon, Oba Adesanya Aladejare has endorsed governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for second term in office .
Oba Aladejare commended Governor Oyebanji for his Omoluabi mantra in reputation and for the fair dispositions and consideration of the Governor’s giant strides at the development of the state.

The community harped on the need for the siting of Government owned Tertiary Institutions in Efon Alaaye in due course.
While appreciating the Governor for his considerations and humane administration, the Alaaye declared that *_”Efon Alaaye people have fallen in love with the Governor and are praying that the BAO administration will run its full course of two unprecedented straight terms of eight years, without any hitch.”
Oyebanji thanked God that the Alaaye of Efon Kingdom was still alive to witness the growth of the young state and observed that there was no way Ekiti could have produced five indigenous State Executive Governors within 28 years, if Ekiti State had not been created following the self denials of the likes of Oba Aladejare.
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has commended the Alaaye of Efon, Oba Adesanya Aladejare for his yeoman’s roles as one of the prominent Ekiti traditional rulers, who collaborated to facilitate the creation of Ekiti State.
The Governor, who gave the commendation in his welcome remark, while playing host to a 20-man delegation of Efon Alaaye community led by the Monarch, at his country home in Ikogosi on Sunday, recalled instances of patriotism, dedication and interventions even at the risk of personal inconveniences of Oba Aladejare, which signposted the Alaaye’s commitment during the struggle for the creation of Ekiti State.
Governor Oyebanji, who also appreciated the unique patriotic dispositions and collaboration of Efon Alaaye people in the development of their community and the state sued for the continued support of Efon people for the success of his administration.
While assuring that all things possible shall be done in answer to meet the requests put forward for further development of Efon Alaaye into a modern city, Governor Oyebanji further sued for harmony, unity and respect for the collegiate leadership of his party by all the Efon Alaaye APC gladiators.
The Governor also hinted that, given the abounding tourism potentials of Ekiti West and Efon Local Government Areas, efforts were at an advanced stage to give a boost to the Ikogosi, Ipole-Iloro and Efon Alaaye Tourism corridor in Ekiti State, while the DG Tourism will be mandated for an assessment on the available tourism features in the area.
The 20-man delegation led by the Alaaye included, four of the six Efon Alaaye High Chiefs; the Regent of Iwaji Ekiti; the incumbent President General and a former Secretary General of Efon Alaaye Development League; incumbent Chairman, Efon Local Government; Chief Whip of Ekiti State House of Assembly; two serving Commissioners and a Technical Advisor to Governor Oyebanji as well as some high ranking political chieftains of both the APC and PDP from Efon Local Government, among others.
