The last is yet to be heard about the ongoing dirty war in Senator Ned Nwoko’s household as his embattled wife, Regina Daniels, publicly accused him of manipulation, deceit, and emotional abuse, alleging he exploited her past drug use to cover his actions.
In a series of posts on Instagram on Sunday, Daniels claimed Nwoko tried to isolate her from her family and control her life.
Her statements followed a post by Nwoko on X (formerly Twitter), in which he accused her family of enabling her alleged drug use and harassing his household.
Responding, Daniels denied her family’s involvement and said Nwoko used her history with drugs to distract the public.
“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?” she wrote.
She further alleged that Nwoko once told her she was “sexier when high” and forced her to take medications meant for people with bipolar disorder.
Daniels also accused Nwoko of locking her in, seizing her phones, and manipulating situations to undermine her, while publicly presenting himself as a concerned husband.
“Every problem we have had started when I no longer wanted you, whether sober or high,” she wrote.
In a later post, she revealed that Nwoko had possession of a private sex tape, writing: “No one knew us like we did, and I trusted you with all of me, even with my sex tape, which I pray never sees the light.”
She added that she plans to take legal action, saying: “It’s time to fight with all of me in court! I’m not backing down now, you narcissistic, manipulative bastard!”
Earlier, Nwoko had accused Daniels’ brother, Samuel Daniels (aka Sammy West), of harassing household and violating doctors’ instructions during Daniels’ treatment. As of press time, he had not publicly responded to her latest claims.
Obviously, neither side seems willing to back down, and the days ahead may become even more contentious.
If the senator claims his wife is addicted to hard drugs and knows her suppliers, while his wife alleges he introduced her to drugs and manipulated her, shouldn’t both parties not be investigated by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)?
This is Nigeria. Nothing will happen. In a weak system, where powerful men often rise above the law, it is usually only the weak and vulnerable who face justice.
Let it be said here that all allegations in this report are based on Regina Daniels’ social media posts and have not been independently verified.
