Daily Trust observed that the stakeholders are currently at the proposed venue of the meeting located close to the National Assembly main entrance in the three arms zone of the nation’s capital.

The fresh peace meeting, which was originally convened by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Maigari Dingyadi, started on Monday afternoon and lasted till early morning of Tuesday without any meaningful conclusion.

Officials in both the Labour Ministry and ONSA, confided in Daily Trust that the takeover was imperative due to the negative dimensions the strike has taken.

“This strike is already causing a big problem across the country. In fact, it can snowballed into a big security challenge in the country if not resolved on time.

“The NSA, as a coordinator of all security agencies, has a duty to ensure that he’s proactive in preventing any looming security issues,” one of the officials in ONSA who didn’t want his name in print told Daily Trust Tuesday afternoon.
