Rangers players have expressed their determination to secure maximum points in the Nigeria Premier Football League,NPFL, matchday eighth clash against Nasarawa United.

The Flying Antelopes will square up with Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Defender, Iwundu Chidozie, says the team have worked hard to get victory over Nasarawa United.

“We are not bargaining on anything less than the three points. I’m comfortable that the entire team will do everything possible to get the job done because we need it and we have worked for it,” Chigozie told Rangers media.

Similarly, midfielder Igwe Pius believed that with a positive team spirit among the players the victory is assured in Lafia.

“With the last two wins at home the team is high in their spirit and this game is a vital one for us. We have to give everything to get the maximum points.” Igwe added.

It would be recalled that Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in the same fixture last season.

Kabiru Balogun grabbed the only goal in the game.
