A political group championed by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has has declared that nobody can stop President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 given his administration’s record of achievements and reform-driven leadership.
The group, BTO for PBAT 2027 in a statement released on Sunday and jointly signed by its spokesperson, Folajimi Adewumi, and Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi expressed absolute confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)’s readiness to retain power.
“Unless there are no elections in Nigeria or the President himself decides not to run, nothing can prevent Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from emerging victorious in 2027,” the group said.
According to the movement, the APC has undergone a remarkable internal renewal since the 2023 general elections, reconnecting with the grassroots and rebuilding trust among ordinary Nigerians.
“The APC has reconnected with the people, learned from past mistakes, and fortified its base. The challenges faced in 2023 will not be repeated,” it said.
It stressed that, the movement, inspired by Olubumi Tunji-Ojo’s grassroots strategy and political dexterity is already mobilizing across the country, engaging communities and showcasing the tangible results of the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Already, the movement is mobilizing nationwide, engaging communities, and amplifying the tangible impact of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in areas such as infrastructure, security, and economic revitalization”, it stressed.
