Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has dismissed claims that she relied on a pity strategy to garner sympathy and votes during the show.

Speaking on Arise TV on Wednesday, she explained that she had only a few days to prepare after receiving her acceptance email, leaving her little time to strategize.

She shared that she simply brought the clothes she had available and never expected to be chosen for the show.

Imisi highlighted that her authenticity was genuine, insisting she did not manipulate emotions to win over viewers.

“My journey in the Big Brother house was unscripted, and my connection with the audience was real,” she said.

She added, “I didn’t come in with a pity strategy. I didn’t even believe I was going to be picked for the show. When I got the mail, I had only a few days to pack. I was in Ijebu at the time, and I brought all the costumes I took to that location to my sister, then we started planning.”

Imisi was officially declared the winner of BBNaija Season 10 on October 5, 2025, by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
