NNPC increases petrol price to N992 per litre in Lagos, N955 in Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has
increased petrol price to N992 per litre in Lagos, and N955 per litre in Abuja.

On Monday, it was observed that the new price has taken
effect across several NNPC retail outlets in both cities.

The price hike reflects an increase of N127 in Lagos from
the previous rate of N865 per litre, and a N65 increase in Abuja from the
previous price of N890 per litre.

At the NNPC filling station in Ago Palace in Lagos, the
price of petrol increased to N992 per litre.

In Abuja, the product sells for N955 per litre at the NNPC
outlet in the Federal Housing Authority, Kubwa, while another station along
Komolafe Road, Lugbe, increased the commodity to N955 per litre.

The adjustment marks a reversal of the price reduction
implemented on August 15, when NNPC lowered petrol prices to N865 per litre in
Lagos and N890 per litre in Abuja.
