Sporting Lagos head coach Jeffery Butter has expressed his team’s readiness for the 2025–26 Nigeria National League, NNL season.
Butter believes that the intense training sessions and pre-season games have prepared the team for the new campaign.
“I think we’re ready. We’ve shown that we have done a lot of work in the last six or seven weeks,” Butter stated to the media at a pre-season tournament in Ogun State.
“These performances and results are a testament to it.”
Sporting Lagos will face Osun United in their opening fixture of the upcoming season.
The 2025–26 NNL season is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, November 8.
