Super Falcons and Brighton first choice Chiamaka Nnadozie was ranked fourth in the Yachin trophy at the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
Nnadozie, who was present at the ceremony in Paris, France on Monday, was one of five players who made the shortlist for the individual award.
The award was won by England and Chelsea goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, while Germany and Gotham FC shot stopper Ann-Katrin Berger was second.
Cata Coll of Spain and Barcelona was third and Daphne van Domselaar finished fifth.

Nnadozie had a brilliant performance in the year in review for both club and country.
At her former club Paris FC, the 24-year-old helped them win the Women’s French Cup before joining Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer.
Then she played a key role as the Super Falcons of Nigeria clinched a record-extending 10th WAFCON title in Morocco.
For her impressive display in goal for the Super Falcons, Nnadozie was named Goalkeeper of the Tournament.
