Outstanding year for club and country

The Nigerian international had a standout year, helping the Super Falcons clinch their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco, where she kept four clean sheets and conceded only twice in open play.

At club level, she became the first Nigerian goalkeeper to feature in the English Women’s Super League after sealing a move to Brighton & Hove Albion.

She previously won the 2024 UNFP Goalkeeper of the Season award at Paris FC and lifted the Coupe de France Féminine, making decisive penalty saves in the final.
