Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi was on target as Viktoria Plzen defeated Malmo 3-0 in their Europa League group game on Thursday.
The 22-year-old scored in the 44th minute to double Plzen’s lead, making it his second goal in consecutive Europa League matches this season. He has now registered five goals in 11 appearances across all competitions for the Czech club.
The game also saw Malmo reduced to nine men, while Plzen had one player sent off.
In other Europa League fixtures, Kelechi Iheanacho featured for Celtic in their 2-0 home loss to Braga. Terem Moffi’s OGC Nice fell 2-1 away to Fenerbahce, while Panathinaikos, without the injured Cyriel Dessers, suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Go Ahead Eagles.
Elsewhere, Lille beat AS Roma 1-0 in Italy, Bologna and Freiburg drew 1-1, Brann edged FC Utrecht 1-0, Young Boys secured a 2-0 away win against FCSB, and Real Betis overcame Ludogorets 2-0 in Bulgaria.
