During a high-profile signing ceremony in Abuja, Secretary-General of the Nigerian Legion, Major Vincent Abiola (retd.), described the partnership as a significant milestone in fostering sustainable economic growth and self-reliance within the armed forces’ community.

“This initiative is not only about creating opportunities but also about instilling a productive culture that honors the sacrifices of our heroes by empowering those who have borne the burden of loss,” he remarked.

The Nigerian Legion’s Director of Business and ICT, Dr. Uche Uche,

emphasised the transformative potential of the Mammy Market Trade Fair, stating: “By working closely with Amberstreams, we aim to dramatically reduce unemployment among military widows and create a robust platform for entrepreneurship,” Dr. Uche added, “Our vision is to cultivate a nurturing ecosystem where economic empowerment is within reach for every member of our community.”

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Amberstreams, Chibuzor A Okoro, outlined the operational blueprint for the trade fair, which is slated to take place quarterly and rotate across four key regions, Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Lagos.

“We are excited to spearhead an initiative that not only promotes business growth and cultural appreciation but also delivers significant economic returns.

“Our commitment is to build a unifying platform that empowers military widows, veterans, and their families through expanded economic opportunities, strategic trade promotion, and active community engagement,” Mr. Okoro stated.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, he thanked the leadership of the Nigerian Legion and the Nigerian Legion Women Auxiliary for entrusting Amberstreams with this visionary project, stating: “We are confident that this collaboration will yield remarkable outcomes and foster public trust and confidence in our shared mission.”

Blueprint reports that the partnership between the Nigerian Legion and Amberstreams stands as a testament to what can be achieved when dedication to community upliftment meets innovative technology and media expertise.

Together, they are poised to pave the way for a brighter, more economically secure future for Nigeria’s armed forces community.
