As Christmas 2025 approaches, Hope Raisers Global Foundation (HRGF) says it is ready to bring joy, dignity, and solidarity to thousands of struggling families across Nigeria through its annual outreach campaign.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja, HRGF Executive Director, Mrs Angonim David-Imeh, said 2025 campaign is themed “Lighting Up Lives: A Christmas of Hope and Unity.”
She said the outreach would span all 36 states and the FCT, supporting more than 5,000 households and more than 50,000 individuals, especially IDPs and families affected by Nigeria’s harsh economic climate.
“Many families no longer see Christmas as a time of celebration, but of survival.
“We’re distributing raw food items so families can cook, share, and celebrate in their own homes,” David-Imeh said.
She stressed that the initiative was more than food, it’s about unity.
“This is a call for individuals, corporate bodies, faith groups, and partners to stand in solidarity with families who have lost so much.
“When hunger is lifted, families can focus on their goals and dreams, not just daily survival,” she said, describing the effort as a small but powerful act that could transform communities and restore resilience.
David-Imeh invited donors, partners, and kind-hearted Nigerians to join the initiative.
“Every contribution, food, logistics, or funding, helps light up lives and reminds families they are not forgotten.
“Project Christmas with HRGF Hope” is the foundation’s annual humanitarian campaign.
“Since its inception, it has brought smiles to thousands of households, rekindling faith in shared humanity and national compassion.” (NAN)
