NexHRM Shares HR Innovations With Start-ups And Investors At ASF 2025

NexHRM presented its HR technology solutions at the 2025 Africa Startup Festival (ASF), an event sponsored by Spark Africa and held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The festival brought together more than 3,000 participants, including founders, investors, product managers and professionals from various sectors.

This was NexHRM’s second appearance at the festival after its debut in 2024. The company used the platform to engage with prospective clients and introduce its all-in-one HR software to startups and established organisations. Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Damilola Ogedengbe, said the company attended to “network, connect with prospective clients, and showcase our platform for businesses of different sizes.”

Ogedengbe explained that NexHRM is designed to help companies handle payroll, recruitment, performance management, leave management and other HR functions. He noted that the software gives organisations the space to focus on strategy rather than routine tasks. As part of its showcase, NexHRM announced a one-year free subscription for organisations that sign up at this stage.

“NEXHRM is built for all businesses, whether you have two employees or 20,000. To access the one-year free offer, simply contact us at [email protected]. We will provide a demo, understand your needs, and onboard your company accordingly,” he said.

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Francis Oladosu, spoke about the platform’s structure and features. He stated that NexHRM operates on Google Cloud, with layers of security for sensitive information. He added that the software integrates with Paystack for payroll automation and includes an AI-driven recruitment system that scans CVs, scores candidates and supports the hiring process.

Oladosu said the festival offered room for collaboration and exchanges with organisations building related solutions. He noted that competition exists in the HR software space but expressed confidence in NexHRM’s capacity to meet business needs across the region.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Moses Durosaro, commented on the company’s pricing model. He explained that many HR tools from outside Africa are priced in foreign currency, which creates barriers for local businesses, especially SMEs. Durosaro said NexHRM aims to ensure that organisations across the continent can use automation without financial pressure.

He added that NexHRM focuses on local realities, including regulatory requirements that foreign platforms often do not address. According to the founders, this focus guides the company’s long-term roadmap and product improvements.

Visitors at the festival interacted with NexHRM’s HR, CRM and finance modules, which are built to support operational processes for SMEs and larger enterprises. The company described the response at its booth as encouraging, with interest from startups, investors and ecosystem partners.

Reflecting on NexHRM’s progress, the founders said the company plans to expand its platform to cover HR, finance, procurement, CRM and other areas. “Our platform is designed to support businesses end-to-end. We are committed to creating a transformative experience for every client that joins our ecosystem,” they said.

As ASF continues to attract participants from across Africa, NexHRM stated that it will keep building solutions for businesses seeking technology for growth and efficient operations.
