2 days ago 22

Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, often known as Nedu, has revealed that he has no regrets about bringing comedian Deeone on his former show, The Honest Bunch Podcast.

Nedu left as co-host of The Honest Bunch podcast a few days ago following a dispute over a recent episode featuring reality TV personality Deeone, who claimed that social media critic VeryDarkMan was attracted to guys.

VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of being behind Deeone’s charges against him, stating that he has been repeatedly asking his attendance on the show since 2024 and has supposedly offered to purchase him a vehicle as an inducement.

Following VDM’s counter-accusations, Nedu announced his departure from the podcast.

During a press event on Pulse NG, Nedu stated that he had no remorse bringing Deeone to the podcast, even if it cost him his job. He thinks that everyone has the right to their own opinions.

In his own words: “I didn’t regret bringing DeeOne to the Honest Bunch Podcast. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.”

He also highlighted the positive impact the podcast has had on many people’s lives. He said:

“The show has helped many people.”

At the same briefing, Nedu clarified that he wasn’t fired from the podcast, contrary to the speculations made by VeryDarkMan.

He explained that he decided to step back due to personal attacks. He said:

“Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal. So that the show can go on.”
