He highlighted a significant drop in examination malpractice compared to 2024, with 3,878 cases recorded this year, representing a reduction of 61.58 percent.

He further revealed that 38 schools across 13 states were implicated in cases of whole-school mass cheating and would face sanctions.

Nine supervisors were also recommended for blacklisting due to various offenses, including aiding malpractice, poor supervision, and unruly conduct.

Wushishi disclosed that results of students from eight schools in Lamorde Local Government Area of Adamawa State were not released due to a communal clash that disrupted the exams.

He, however, assured that NECO is working with the state government to provide another opportunity for the affected students.
