The win sees the Italians, take control of Group A2 in the UEFA Nations League.
With this win, the Azzurri moved three points clear at the top of their group after Belgium’s loss to France.
Italy, fresh from their 3-1 win over France, made several changes, including the introduction of Moise Kean and Giacomo Raspadori.
Israel, seeking redemption after a 3-1 defeat to Belgium, made adjustments of their own, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Italians.
Frattesi opened the scoring in the 37th minute, chesting in a cross from Federico Dimarco.
Frattesi is now Italy’s top scorer under coach Luciano Spalletti.
Israel threatened to equalize, but were stopped by a strong Italy’s defensive side.
In the 65th minute, Italy doubled their lead when Kean pounced on a rebound from Raspadori’s shot.
However, Israel pulled one back late in the match through Mohammad Abu Fani, but Italy held on for the win.
