The Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone, Ahmed Wadada, has officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The announcement was made on Tuesday, through a signed letter addressed to the APC Chairman of Tudun Kofar Ward, Keffi, in Nasarawa State.

Wadada, who was previously a member of the APC before leaving the party in 2022 to join the SDP and contest the 2023 Nasarawa West Senatorial elections which he won explained that his return was a carefully considered decision.
In his letter titled “Notification of my return to the All Progressives Congress,” he stated, “After careful consideration, I have decided to return to APC. This decision is driven by my desire to contribute to the growth, development, and success of the party.”
He added, “My time in SDP allowed me to understand the political landscape better, but I remain committed to APC’s vision and values.
“I believe my return will strengthen the party at both the local and national levels.”
Wadada further expressed optimism about the future, saying, “I am eager to work with the party leadership and grassroots members to ensure that APC continues to deliver on its promises and remains the party of progress in Nasarawa State.”
He also emphasized the need for unity, stating, “It is time for all stakeholders to put aside differences and focus on building a strong and inclusive APC that can meet the aspirations of our people.”
On his commitment to party development, Wadada said, “I will engage with youth, women, and other party members to ensure that APC grows from the grassroots and remains a platform for good governance.”
