Nollywood actress, Temidayo Babatunde has shared the relationship red flags she avoids, emphasizing that certain behaviors are non-negotiable for her.
“I have lots of red flags, part of which are lack of communication, jealousy, gas lighting, and isolation. The moment I notice these traits in my partner, I call their attention to it. If they don’t change, I run as far as my legs can take me,” she told Saturday Sun in an interview.
On keeping a man, Babatunde believes love and respect are crucial but insists that a man who wants to stay will stay regardless of effort.
“If he wants to stay, he definitely will stay, regardless of what you do. As much as I respect him and love him deeply, it’s up to him to stay,” she said.
Discussing success in Nollywood, she highlighted that beauty alone is not enough.
“As much as beauty is important, talent is also very crucial because it will pave the way for you and allow you to sit with kings and queens. Both talent and beauty complement each other.”
Known for her bold approach to acting, Babatunde is determined to leave a legacy in Nollywood. She is particularly drawn to historical films.
“I want to explore every kind of role, but I would love to work in movies based on history. If I get an opportunity to play a real-life character in the future, I’ll be more than happy,” she said.
