MTN Nigeria has now awarded a total of N579 million to 3,121 customers in its ongoing Mega Billion Promo.

The 90-day promo, which kicked off on June 23, 2025, has continued to gain momentum across the country.

The promo aims to produce 195 millionaires and a total of 5,460 winners within 90 days.

Rewards include daily cash prizes, a N5 million weekday jackpot, and a ₦10 million Saturday Mega Draw, creating a weekly climax of excitement for participants.

MTN shares’ impact on the promo

The initiative offers customers the chance to win life-changing prizes, including grand cash rewards and smaller daily prizes, simply by recharging their lines.

Speaking on the impact of the promo, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Karl Toriola, said:

“WWe understand the evolving needs of our customers. The MTN Mega Billion Promo is our way of giving back, providing tangible value, and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to their financial well-being. We remain customer-first in everything we do.”

For many beneficiaries, these winnings have gone beyond personal gain, helping to cover family needs, invest in small businesses, and access essential services.

Also, speaking, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said the use of MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB) for disbursements has enabled broader participation and access.

Sh noted:

“The MTN Mega Billion Promo is more than a reward scheme. It is a strategic initiative to empower customers through MoMo PSB. By leveraging MoMo for prize disbursements, we are not only facilitating winnings, but we are also driving broader financial inclusion.”

How to qualify and participate

Customers simply dial *900# to opt in and recharge with as little as N100.

Both new and existing MTN subscribers are eligible to participate, with winnings disbursed directly through MoMo PSB, ensuring quick, secure, and transparent payments.

UBA launches promo

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that United Bank for Africa (UBA) has launched the fifth season of its Super Savers Promo, with plans to distribute more than N150 million in cash and other prizes to customers over the next nine months.

A said the major prize on offer is N1 million will be awarded quarterly, alongside cash rewards of N500,000, N250,000, N100,000, N50,000 and N10,000, with hundreds of customers also receiving airtime bonuses.
