Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has opened up about the staggering amount he has spent managing his health over the past six months.
The award-winning cinematographer, who has been battling kidney disease, shared his ordeal on social media, disclosing that his medical expenses could have easily bought him luxury cars.
“Saw my 6 months health expenses, Omo 2 GLE and one small C300 bro! Health is wealth true true,” Omori wrote.

He further reflected on the harsh reality of dialysis treatment costs in relation to the country’s minimum wage, admitting that the thought left him in tears.
“Dialysis is about 100k plus per session, sometimes you need 3 sessions in a week, minimum wage is 70k. Knowing these facts brought me tears in the hospital cause no hope for the common man,” he lamented.
Despite the struggles, Omori revealed that he is working on a creative project that will also serve as a means of support for kidney patients who cannot afford dialysis.
“I’m working on my first major glasses design that will be up on sale soon where some of the proceeds will go to people living with kidney diseases that can’t afford to pay for their dialysis,” he added.
