“Mohbad’s Father Bailed Four Suspects Arrested For His Son’s Death; He’s Always Visiting Naira Marley” – Wummi’s Lawyer Alleges

Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of late singer Mohbad, and her lawyer, Kabir Akingbolu, have made fresh allegations against the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba.

They accused him of having ties with suspects linked to the singer’s death.

During an interview with Arise TV on Saturday, Akingbolu claimed that Mohbad’s father had been associating with individuals arrested in connection to the singer’s passing.

He alleged that the late singer’s father had helped secure the release of four suspects.

“Mohbad’s father is always going to Naira Marley. Even some people that were arrested for the murder of Mohbad—about four of them—the man went there and bailed them out,” Akingbolu alleged.

Following Akingbolu’s statement, Wunmi further claimed that Mohbad’s father had a close relationship with the suspects and that a lawyer named Odumosu had been coaching them on what to say during investigations.

She said, “Mohbad’s father has a relationship with the suspects to the extent that they have a lawyer, Odumosu. One of their workers actually said it online, and there’s evidence for it. Their lawyer is the one coaching those suspects on what to say—all they have to do is just go there.”

Wunmi also recounted the events that led to her husband’s death, pointing fingers at individuals who allegedly contributed to the tragic incident.

“The suspects were arrested because of the guy that fought with him at the show, the person that called the nurse, and the nurse that injected him. It was the injection that led to his death—he reacted to it. I don’t even know if the injection was a mistake or if the nurse was sent, because she has been acting nonchalantly since my husband’s death. She’s been clubbing and doing that to my face. A fellow lady like me, who knows what it takes to be a widow—I was widowed at 24, this is just the beginning of my life, and the nurse has been out there enjoying her life,” she said.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Aloba, passed away on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances. His death sparked widespread outrage, leading to multiple arrests and an ongoing investigation.
