In a development that has been received with great excitement across Enugu State and beyond, the nomination of Hon.. (Dr.) Kingsley Udeh, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Enugu State, by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointment as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has been described as both historic and richly deserved.
According to Hon. Barr. Chibuzo Obeagu, the Executive Chairman of Isi-Uzo Local Government Council, the announcement marks a new dawn for Enugu State and stands as a powerful validation of the transformational leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State.
Speaking on behalf of the Government and the good people of Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, Hon. Obeagu noted that Dr. Udeh’s nomination is not only a recognition of individual brilliance but a collective triumph for the entire Enugu State. He described the nominee as “a man of intellect, integrity, and patriotic depth whose public service record speaks of diligence, commitment, and vision.”
He further observed that the Governor’s deliberate efforts in repositioning Enugu for national relevance have begun to yield fruits, adding that the nomination of one of the State’s finest legal minds to the Federal Executive Council underscores the credibility, competence, and excellence that define Governor Mbah’s administration.
“Governor Peter Mbah has, through purposeful leadership and strategic engagement, restored Enugu State’s rightful place in Nigeria’s political landscape. By identifying and nurturing leaders of proven capacity like Dr. Udeh, he has reignited national confidence in Enugu’s potential and reaffirmed our collective stake in Nigeria’s governance structure,” Hon. Obeagu said.
He lauded Dr. Udeh’s illustrious career in law and public service, describing his rise as the reward of hard work, vision, and unflinching dedication to duty. According to him, the learned Attorney-General has demonstrated exceptional understanding of governance, justice administration, and national policy dynamics.
