Man dragged online for sharing girlfriend’s plea for N4k despite having over N13 million in his account

A Nigerian man has ignited a storm of criticism on social media after he shared a screenshot revealing his girlfriend’s request for N4k, despite having over N13 million in his account.

The controversy began when the young man posted a screenshot of his account balance on Instagram, which was subsequently reposted by @mazitundeednut.

The screenshot displayed a bank balance of N13,923,198.50. In the same post, a message from his girlfriend could be seen, requesting N4,000.

This post quickly went viral, attracting a flood of comments and reactions from social media users.

Many criticized the man for publicly sharing his girlfriend’s request, wondering why she would need to ask for such a small amount when he had so much.
