Man caught bending his hand like a person with special need to beg for money

5 hours ago 21

A man has been caught deliberately bending his hand to mimic a person with special needs in order to beg for money.

This was revealed in a post shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

In the video, voices could be heard shouting loudly at Ijeka Market after the man’s deception was uncovered.

According to the post, the man was handed some money by a passerby, and in the process of collecting it, he stretched out his hand — the same hand he had been keeping bent to appear disabled. This accidental movement exposed his trick.

The video was captioned: “He was given money and had to normalize his hand… Poverty can make someone do the undo.”

The person who shared the video also added in the comment section, “He’s been extorting money from people daily. He has deceived so many and collected a lot of money.”
