The Kano State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested 28-year-old Salisu Abdu Adam for allegedly scamming a married woman of ₦1.8 million.
Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, confirmed the arrest in a statement released on Wednesday.
“Adam, an indigene of Garko local government but resident of Kawo, Nassarawa local government of Kano State, was said to have committed the offence in Garko local government area of the state,” Abdullahi said.

He stated that the suspect employed local charms to entice his victim, a married woman, by making ghostly promises of better education and a more successful, highly profitable business.
He noted that the probe has been finalized and that the suspect will face legal proceedings in due course.
“Investigation has been concluded and the suspect will soon be charged to court,” the statement added.
